» Mark’s Mission – Cycle Challenge
May 9th – 17th 2025

Start: Kingston Park, Newcastle upon Tyne – Home of Newcastle Falcons Rugby

Finish: Cinch Stadium, Franklin’s Gardens, Northampton – Home of Northampton Saints Rugby

The challenge is to cycle to every Premiership Rugby ground in England. We start at Newcastle Falcons in Newcastle upon Tyne on the morning of Friday 9 th May 2025 and then we cycle to Sale Sharks, in Manchester, to Gloucester Rugby in Gloucester, to Bristol Bears in Bristol, to Bath Rugby in Bath, to Exeter Chiefs in Exeter, to Harlequins in Twickenham, Greater London, followed by a stop off at Twickenham (Mark’s spiritual rugby home), to Saracens Rugby in North London, to Leicester Tigers in Leicester and finally finish around midday at Northampton Saints in Northampton for their last home game of the season on Saturday 17 th May 2025.

Quite literally a cycle around the country (or most of it when it comes to Rugby Union). A trip of over 800 miles that we need to complete in just over 8 days. It is a hell of a challenge but we shall do it.

To see more about the team undertaking the challenge please go to our team page on the website.

The detailed route, map and how to follow us will be published on here soon. Look out for us on the road.

Mark’s family and friends inspired by his strength and bravery though this have set up Mark’s Mission in the hope of raising £100K to help with research. Mark is acutely aware that whatever is done in his name cannot save him, but if he can contribute, together with all of those involved, to raise awareness and work towards a cure then he will have made a difference and hopefully ensured that others do not have to suffer as he has.

Thank you to Elaine Monger and Paul MacPherson for all the hard work in organising this. Thank you to all the friends and work colleagues of Mark who are contributing. All of the funds raised are being added to the Mark’s Mission total.
